Coming by Car

There are several car parks just a short distance from Assembly Buildings [view map], the two nearest being McCauslands along the Grosvenor Road and the multi-storey car park behind the Europa Hotel, with others a little further away.

Short-stay, 'ticketed', on-street parking is possible in a number of the streets in the immediate area around Assembly Buildings, though finding a free space can sometimes be difficult during the working day.

Please note that PARKING is NOT PERMITTED in Wellington Street, on the north side of Assembly Buildings. Coming by Bus or Train

Coming to Assembly Buildings by public transport is easy. Many Metro Bus routes terminate in and around the City Hall, while a number of out-of-town Ulsterbus services arrive into the Europa Buscentre in Glengall Street, behind the Europa Hotel, where NI Railways' Great Victoria Street Train Station (the nearest to Assembly Buildings) is also located. Other Ulsterbus services operate from the Laganside Buscentre [view map].

Ulsterbus' Airport Express 300 coach service to and from Belfast International Airport uses the Europa Buscentre, as does the Airport Express 600 service to and from Belfast City Airport. Ulsterbus' Goldline 200 Express Service between Belfast and Dublin, which also operates from the Europa Buscentre, calls in at Dublin Airport en route.

Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) and NIR jointly run the Belfast-Dublin intercity 'Enterprise Express' service with online 'advance-purchase' tickets being considerably cheaper than those purchased at the point and time of embarkation.
