Get Involved
We believe that mission is not just one of the Church’s activities, but is fundamental to its very existence and should therefore be at the heart of all its activities.
God's desire is to include His people in the task of building of His Kingdom. Thus, concern for, and involvement in, His mission to the world should be an integral part of the discipleship experience of all who claim to be Christian.
Within PCI, our involvement in mission largely eminates from within our congregations; whether the focus is local, somewhere else within the island of Ireland, or oveseas. There are may ways to be involved; and many opportunities for getting involved. What is important is that we each find out what God wants us to do and where - and then get on and do it!
Your involvement in Mission Overseas
Individuals, groups, and congregations can get involved in number of ways:
- Everyone can PRAY.
- Almost everyone can GIVE something to support the work of mission overseas.
- Many can GO and get involved 'on the ground'; whether short-term or for the long-haul.
You may wish to consider supporting one of our Special Projects or Containers for Malawi. And, hopefully, your congregation will play its part in contributing to our annual World Development Appeal.
