'Let Justice Flow: Thirsting for Justice'Taking this year's theme forward, it is hoped to make use of the slogan, 'Let Justice Flow', over several years, highlighting different aspects of the biblical call to do justice, and to link this theme, where possible, to the annual priorities set by the General Assembly
The main project focus this year is the Kigezi Diocese (Church of Uganda) Water and Sanitation Programme - supported through Tearfund - which has been successfully addressing water and sanitation issues in southwest Uganda for 25 years.

The Appeal also features an integrated rural development scheme in Cambodia, Living with Dignity, which is being supported through Christian Aid. This scheme not only supports communities in alleviating the symptoms of poverty but also in addressing the causes of poverty at a local level.
Deep within our biblical tradition is the claim that God liberates those who are in bondage not only so that they themselves might flourish, but also so that they might come to embody a new way of life in community, in which the waters of justice flow freely and enable a sustainable and joyful life for all.
It is our privilege this year by our giving to 'World Development', which will be channelled through Tearfund and Christian Aid, to partner with the Kigezi Diocese Water and Sanitation Programme and Living with Dignity, and, thereby, to let justice flow.
In the weeks leading up to Christmas, each congregation is invited to encourage its members to give generously to this year's World Development Appeal: ‘Let Justice Flow : Thirsting for Justice’.
Members of the World Development Committee and the Board of Mission Overseas are sincerely grateful to the many members in congregations throughout the Presbyterian Church in Ireland who continue to steadfastly support the World Development Appeal and who give so generously.
In supporting this appeal, together, we can make a real difference to peoples' lives! May our own lives, as well as the lives of our partners, be shaped for the good by our giving.
