Details of the Summer 2011 short-term Overseas Mission Teams being organised by PCI's Boards of Mission Overseas (BMO) and Youth & Children's Ministry (YAC) are now available.
Between the two Mission Boards, plans are in hand to send teams to Ukraine, Italy, Romania and London.
BMO is organising two teams. For the sixth year in the past seven, another team is going to Transcarpathia in Western Ukraine, to help run an English Camp for young people. For the first time, BMO is also sending a team to Italy in conjunction with Coram Deo Ministries to help with outreach work at a five-day Literary Festival which is attended by over 100,000 people from all over Italy.
Following the success of the previous two years, YAC is sending another team to Cluj in Romania, to work alongside Csaba and Ilona Veres and are also sending another team to London (as they did last year) to work alongside PCI-supported Kenyans, Edwin and Anne Kibathi and family, in their work with PCEA UK Outreach.
Details of these teams can be obtained from the BMO and YAC websites (see links below), or their respective offices in Church House.
With Application Closing Dates in January (dates differ for different teams), congregational leaders are encouraged to make sure that their members are fully informed and made aware of all the opportunities on offer.
Information on BMO teams has been posted out to ministers and congregational mission agents, asking them to inform their congregations about these teams.
