Presbyterian Church in Ireland - Mission Overseas - NEPAL: INF seeks applicants for 'Vision Trip' to Nepal in late 2011

If you have an interest in Christian mission or in Nepal, or you would like to explore where God might be leading you, INF UK is organising a vision trip to Nepal for a group of eight people in November this year.

INF Nepal is a Nepali Christian non-government organisation, registered with the Nepal government's Social Welfare Council, which serves Nepali people through health and development work.

INF Nepal aims to demonstrate God's love and concern, and restore people's relationships with God, each other and creation - so they can live dignified lives to the full. INF Nepal aims to honour God by bringing sustainable improvements in health and quality of life, and peace and harmony in communities. INF Nepal's focus is on the poor and disadvantaged, including those affected by stigmatising diseases [such as leprosy, TB and HIV/AIDS], the disabled, and marginalised groups [such as women, displaced people, and those in remote areas].

During the trip the members of the group will visit INF projects in Nepal and see the work of Nepali churches in different parts of the country. Group members will also meet INF project staff [both Nepalis and expatriates], project clients and church leaders. The trip will be led by former INF Members Andy and Judy Cordell.

Dates are yet to be confirmed but are likely to be for three weeks during November 2011.
