OVERSEAS VISITORS: Reception for Kenyan & Malawian delegates to General Assembly

12th May 2011

This Special Reception, which is open to ANY interested PCI members, provides the opportunity to meet and welcome two leaders from PCI's partner churches in Kenya and Malawi, who will be in Belfast ahead of the General Assembly beginning on Monday, 6th June 2011.

The Reception will take place on Thursday, 2nd June 2011 in Church House, beginning at 7.30 pm and ending no later than 10.00 pm

This is a unique opportunity, before the start of a busy week of General Assembly business, to meet and chat informally with representatives of two churches with which the Presbyterian Church in Ireland has had a long-standing partnership through the Board of Mission Overseas.

Those who are expected to be welcomed on the night are:

Rev Francis Njoroge
Deputy Secretary General,
Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) in KENYA

Rev Davidson Chifungo
General Secretary, Nkhoma Synod,
Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) in MALAWI
