Last Friday, 11th November, PCI's Joe Campbell, who formerly served in Nepal as UMN Peacebuilding Advisor, facilitated a 'Forgiveness and Reconciliation Follow-up Workshop' held in Kathmandu.

Church members from Bhaktapur, Kritipur, Lalitpur and Makwanpur - all in the Kathmandu valley - participated in the seminar.

Workshop attendees in discussionPreviously, these churches attended an eight-week long workshop on forgiveness and reconciliation jointly organised by Micah Network Nepal and UMN.

The Nepali Christians who have taken part in these workshops have experienced inner healing, which in turn is enabling them to help to resolve conflicts within their own churches and between churches.

A pastor from Kritipur, who attended these workshops, says:

"For a long time, we had been working on bringing unity among churches in Kritipur. Thank God for the 'Forgiveness and Reconciliation Workshop' - we have never been united like this before."
