Presbyterian Church in Ireland - Mission Overseas - World Development Appeal 'Presentation Resources' now available

Resources to assist the promotion of this year’s World Development Appeal: 'Let Justice Flow: Thirsting for Justice' are now available on CD and are on their way to ministers for use in their congregations.

All the resources that are on the CD are also available on the World Development ‘Downloads’ page on this site.

There are six PowerPoint® presentations to go with the 2011 World Development Appeal along with corresponding scripts for each presentation. This will allow congregations to choose the presentation(s) that suits them best.

Also provided are six separate photosets, corresponding to the six presentations, should anyone wish to use these images in any other way.

The PowerPoints® presentations, which have been prepared in the most common format and do not feature a pre-recorded soundtrack, are as set out below. The last four can either be used at different points during one service or one each Sunday for four weeks.

1. Let Justice Flow (Long)
This version lasts 12 minutes and tells the story of ‘Let Justice Flow’ – including four personal stories – all in one presentation

2. Let Justice Flow (Short)
This version lasts 6 minutes and tells the story of ‘Let Justice Flow’, but with only one of the personal stories included.

3. George’s Story
An individual story, lasting approximately 3 minutes

4. Obed’s Story
An individual story, lasting approximately 3 minutes 

5. Confidence’s Story
An individual story, lasting approximately 3 minutes

6. Water OnTap Story
Explains how the project works and lasts approximately 3 minutes

As Christmas approaches, congregations are invited to use these promotional materials to encourage their members to give generously to this year's World Development Appeal.
