

Professor Gordon Campbell, Convener of the Board of Mission Overseas’ Leadership Development Committee, is making a short visit to Faculté Jean Calvin in Aix-en-Provence in the South of France.
Gordon, who is Professor of New Testament Studies at Union Theological College, was formerly a member of the fulltime teaching staff at at Faculté Jean Calvin (FJC) for a period of eight years.
On the occasion of this visit to Aix-en-Provence, he will be there from Tuesday, 3rd through to Tuesday, 10th January.
During this time he will be giving some intensive teaching in New Testament to undergraduate students in their 2nd and 3rd years. They will take a module in the Synoptic Gospels, concluding with an exam on Monday, 9th January.
He will also preach at the College’s weekly service on Thursday, 5th January.
This will be Gordon’s first public assignment since the funeral, last week, of his father who died at Christmas.
