
Woodstock is a Christian, international, residential co-educational school, which was established in 1854.
Its aim is to develop responsible global citizens and leaders by providing a world-class international education which is rooted in Christian values and caters for a diverse group of students from kindergarten to Grade 12; and especially those from families in Christian or public service.
The school currently has some 470 students from almost 30 nations.

Students completing a Woodstock education will be -
1. Educated holistically through the experience of a balanced and demanding liberal arts curriculum and broad-based activities programme.
2. Familiar with higher-order and critical thinking skills and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with others.
3. Familiar with a range of learning styles and aware of their own preferred style, and with the appropriate use of learning resources including technology.
4. Self-assured in situations where public communication or performance is required, and able to communicate effectively in English and another language in a range of situations and styles.
5. Emotionally mature, self-confident and self-aware, and able to make positive choices.
6. Able and equipped to demonstrate the attributes and skills of leadership amongst their peers and in a social and working environment.
7. Aware of the responsibilities of privilege, concerned for social justice, concerned about the ethical implications of personal and social choices and able to make decisions based consistently on moral values and concern for others, prepared to take opportunities for community service.
8. Able to articulate and respect the beliefs and values of the Christian religion as well as the other major world religions.
9. Appreciative of their own cultural values and emerging world-view and respectful of the values and beliefs of people from different nationalities and social and cultural backgrounds.
10. Knowledgeable about Indian culture and history and appreciative of the country and its people.
11. Confident in cross-cultural environments and able to function effectively in different cultural, educational and employment settings.
12. Qualified, eligible and prepared to pursue the higher-education course of their choice in the country of their choice.
